Brief
I was invited by the Nottingham family to update this wonderful sunny garden room which sits adjacent to their kitchen. It is an unusual pentagon shape with amazing views of the garden at every angle. The sofas, inherited in the house move, are excellent quality but the material needed updating and are now a beautiful blue. We added a Berber rug, which not only keeps the scheme light, but is a very forgiving design in family spaces, and cosy underfoot. Bright yellow cushions and blankets add cheerful touches to this room, and an abundance of plants helps connect the room to its surroundings, bringing a bit of the outside in.
